CMS finalized a continuous 90-day electronic Clinical Quality Measures (eCQM) reporting period for all Medicaid EP’s in 2020 and 2021.  Please see the CMS website for more detail: https://www.cms.gov/regulations-guidance/promoting-interoperability/2020-program-requirements-medicaid

The last year to enroll in the Medicaid EMR incentive payment program was 2016. However, any previous registration information can be edited at the Medicare & Medicaid EMR Incentive Program Registration and Attestation System.

Stage 3 includes flexibility within certain objectives to allow providers to choose the measures most relevant to their patient population or practice. The Stage 3 objectives with flexible measure options include:

Coordination of Care through Patient Engagement – Providers must attest to all three measures and must meet the thresholds for at least two measures to meet the objective.

Health Information Exchange – Providers must attest to all three measures and must meet the thresholds for at least two measures to meet the objective.

Public Health Reporting – EPs must attest to two measures, Medicaid-only hospitals must attest to four measures and Dual-Eligible hospitals must attest to three measures.

Yes, CRISP is an HIE that is capable of exchanging information across a broad network of unaffiliated exchange partners including those using disparate EHRs and does not engage in exclusionary behavior when determining exchange partners. CRISP supports this measure.
