CRISP Introduces Integrated Care Network

CRISP’s Integrated Care Network (ICN) infrastructure initiative represents one of our newest efforts to improve health information exchange. ICN will focus on connecting providers in multiple settings — from hospitals and physician practices to long-term care facilities — with the proper information to improve health outcomes and reduce costs by providing tools, data, and services to support care coordination. Leading ICN is Program Director, Ross D. Martin, MD, MHA. Dr. Martin is responsible for all aspects of building and deploying next-generation care coordination tools and services that build upon CRISP’s existing data delivery and reporting services as Maryland’s state designated health information exchange. Dr. Martin comes to us from AMIA where he served as a Vice President, responsible for public policy and business development at the 5,000+ member association.
