COVID-19
The VaccTracc tool has been updated to reflect current CDC recommendations on flu and COVID-19 vaccinations. Individuals are considered ‘up to date’ on COVID-19 vaccination if they have received a 2023-2024 Formula COVID-19 Vaccine and considered ‘up to date’ on flu vaccination if they have received a flu vaccine during the 2023-2024 Flu season (July 2023- June 2024).
Statewide Integrated Health Improvement Strategy (SIHIS)
The Severe Maternal Morbidity Measure in the SIHIS Directional indicators dashboard includes breakdowns for SMM events with and without blood transfusion to be more consistent with the new Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM) definition.

Maryland Primary Care Program (MDPCP)
Updated 2023 benchmark values for the Maryland Statewide 50th and 80th percentiles of AHU, EDU, and TPCC are available in the AHU/EDU Report and TPCC Report. Changes are based on the updated Financial Methodology document from CMS.

New MDPCP practice will be added to CRS reports in February.
Medicare Claim and Claim Line Feed (CCLF)
The American Geriatric Society Beers Criteria® for Potentially Inappropriate Medication Use in Older Adults have been revised with the 2023 update. Compared to the prior version, the prevalence of Part D prescriptions flagged as high risk medications increased by 14% in the last year. This update affects all 36 months of data:
