Getting Started with CRISP

Welcome to CRISP Onboarding. Below you will find information regarding the CRISP onboarding process, as well as documentation regarding the process and reference materials.

The process varies for each organization and individual based on factors such as type, size, and technology needs. CRISP provides dedicated Account Managers who will guide you through the entire onboarding process, helping you access the right applications and services for your needs. Please review the below information to ensure proper preparation for your onboarding process.

Before You Start

It is helpful to consider what your needs are before initiating your onboarding with CRISP. Depending on your purpose for accessing CRISP's tools, your specific onboarding process will differ.

First, determine if you intend to gain clinical access to CRISP's tools, or if you are interested in connecting to the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) through CRISP. The steps for getting connected to CRISP through PDMP are outlined below.

If you are seeking clinical access, you'll need to provide different, specific information during the onboarding process depending on whether you're onboarding as an individual or an organization. Using the tabs on the right, determine which of these categories you align with and prepare the necessary information listed under your tab before continuing to the steps for clinical access onboarding outlined below.

Step Two: Connect with Your Account Manager

Once you provide basic information, CRISP Account Managers will reach out to you to guide you through the next steps of the technical onboarding process, ensuring everything is set up correctly for you to get the most out of CRISP. If you encounter any issues, your dedicated Account Manager will be there to help you throughout the process and resolve any challenges that may arise.

Step Three: Discuss Data and Sign Documents

During the onboarding process, you will need to determine data sharing needs. Based on your eligibility and data needs your Account Manager will assist you in deciding which data you will share and what data you will have access to. During this step, you will also complete several forms with the help of your Account Manager, including:

  • Participation Agreement (PA)
  • Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP)
  • Substance Abuse Attestation (SUD)
  • LabCorp & Quest Feed Forms
  • Patient Panel Submission
